Would a feather extension look okay with really long hair?

So I have really long golden blonde hair that goes past my bottom and I've been looking into a feather hair extension for awhile. I was thinking of something simple, maybe green or blue. I was just wondering, since the feather are a little short, do you think it would still look okay with my really long hair? I also do not have any bangs if that matters at all. Thanks for any help! :)
